Hidden Roads Project is a licensed collector and exotic car dealer in High Bridge, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, operating by appointment.
We buy, sell and consign the cars we would keep ourselves: the right colours, the honest histories, the manuals nobody wants to part with. A small collection, chosen one car at a time, shown by appointment and shipped anywhere in the country.
Hidden Roads Project is a small shop, on purpose, run by people who spent years buying and keeping collector cars before they started selling them. Every car that comes through is one we have driven, inspected and written up ourselves, and when you come to see it the person who did that work is the person you meet.
Most dealers move metal. We look for the examples a collector would hold out for: a factory colour that was ordered rarely, a manual gearbox where most were automatics, a long single ownership, a service file that runs to the present day. We pass on far more cars than we take. The collection is curated, not stocked, and it is never large.
Every car we list gets the same treatment before it goes on the site. We photograph the complete walkaround, the engine and the undercarriage. We take paint-depth readings across every panel and photograph the tyre tread and date codes. We pull the history report where one exists and gather every service record, manual and tool we can put our hands on. All of it is published on the car's page in the Documentation and Photos sections, and a flaw is disclosed on the photograph of it, where you are already looking.
You are welcome to have the car inspected by a mechanic of your own choosing as well, by appointment.
Some cars do best in our own collection; others do best at auction. When a car should go to auction we represent the seller through the whole run: photography, film, the write-up, the listing, and the questions that come in while bidding is open. The owner decides where the car goes; we advise which road suits it.
